Dallas J Power - Master Jeweller
His love for historic styles and sculptural architecture, inspired him to interpret beautiful elegantly themed, repetitious patterned, architectural designs into jewellery. Beginning early in his career during a one year visit through Europe he adored being exposed to such a rich history, exploring the artistic and architectural history and symbolism behind the design of these countries. Dallas was truly amazed by the craftsmanship in the engraving, carving and, sculpting. Also the amazing attention to detail that allowed these buildings, architectural art to last for centuries. They were made to last (forward thinkers).
Dallas won major awards and completed his apprenticeship under the watchful eye and highly esteemed master jeweller Richard Hornby of Clark and Walton (est :1914), high-end manufacturing jewellers, Richard would tell Dallas they don't make things the way they used to. Richard instilled in Dallas the need to make everything the way it should be made without compromise and with the intention of his creations to be highly prized and handed down through generations. As it should be!
Dallas designs and creates in the time that it is absolutely necessary to get it right the first time. Dallas mentioned it's not about money it's an art and passion for excellence. |
