Poesy is French for poetry.

Back between the 13th through to the 16th century poetry or a secret message of commitment were carved around the inside and/or the outside of the ring, usually in Latin or Norman French. This was done to keep the meaning intimately hidden from everyone else except for the giver and the receiver of the ring.

Each ring is engraved with the symbols, words or saying of your choice in our Sydney studio. The Posey ring is what inspired the famous ring featured guarded so fiercely on Lord Of The Rings.
