When your Dallas Designer Jewellery is valued, you can be certain that the diamonds in it are the ones you have purchased and have been "graded" certified and valued accurately before the ring is made. If jewellery is premade and then sold off-the-shelf, often valuation is a just a "guesstimate", even if done by a reputable Valuer, as there are methods of disguising imperfections in diamonds that may not be picked up even under magnification by the Valuer, because of the way it is tactfully set by the diamond setter at the request of the jeweller. Where the claws or bezel may cover any slight imperfections and be graded higher than it would have been as a loose stone. This is why there is a disclaimer at the bottom of any valuation, as the Valuer may not be able to see any imperfections even under magnification.
On the other hand this can be used to your advantage if you are buying a lesser quality diamond because of budget and wanting a certain size diamond. We can work with you to discuss and disguise some of the imperfections, depending on where they are located. If they are covered by claws, or the bezel of the ring, then the diamond may look a better quality, even though it will still be valued for the quality that it is. The colour of the setting can also enhance the beauty of the stone. Speak to us today to discuss your needs.
It is always advisable to keep the certificate of the diamond with the valuation to help the Valuer clarify the correct description of the diamond. If there is no certificate, they can be purchased at any reputable gem laboratory.
